The cases screen

The cases’ screen recovers automatically the list of all the cases registered in Kleos. You may scroll down to see the full list of cases. Right-click on the list of cases to activate the contextual menu. The same functionalities are also available on the upper-right corner of the screen.

The easiest way to locate a case is through the quick search box. The quick search locates cases by their description, case reference and parties. It’s also possible to use the quick search box to recover the last searches and the stored ones. The advanced search allows users to perform complex searches, combining all the fields of the cases. To cancel a search, simply close the advanced search window. Click on “Clear criteria” to start a new advanced search, or to recover the full list of cases.

It is possible to add new cases or to modify the existing ones from the list of cases. To do so, click on the add icon or the contextual menu by using the right button of the mouse. You may also use the “new” icon on the menu. On the right of the screen you may see an overview of the cases organised by type. You may use the cloud and the graphic to filter the cases by type. You can hide or show the cases overview panel by clicking on the small arrow beside the panel.

Click on the column name to sort the cases by the selected column. If you want to filter the list, click on the funnel icon of the column headers. You can combine multiple column filters. You can drag the columns to rearrange them. You can also choose the columns that will be shown on the list. Right-click on any column header to show the list of columns, and select or deselect the ones that you want to see or hide.

If you want to recover the default design, click on the the configuration icon in the left lower corner of the screen. The cases menu is located in the upper right corner of the screen. To open a case, select it on the list and click on the “open” icon, or double-click on the case.
